This collage is a continuation of my Des Moines architecture series. What inspired me about this design was the church steeple in front of the state capitol and the linear design of the bridge angles. more »
My inspiration for this piece was to continue exploring the interesting bicycle shapes and forms that define it. Another challenge was working in a square format, which I find daunting at times. Working with a rectangular forms in a square format challenges you to rethink design possibilities and it keeps your work fresh. more »

Old, rusted machinery captured my interest again. I zeroed in on just a section of this threshing machine. Its parts are interesting as large, abstract shapes. She received a cash award and ribbon for her painting Teapots Series #13 at the luncheon and award ceremony September 12 at the Cedar Falls Women’s Clubhouse.
