Goblet Patterns #3
Another angle of the purple goblets on the wood table, showing the contrast of the glass, wood grain and fruit textures. The pears lead into the design and the shadow patterns weave the glass and fruit together. All the glass stems reflect different shapes of the fruit and sunlit passages. A smaller version of the first design — an intimate close-up. The pears have lots of color reflections, and the goblets had lots of bubbles in the glass, which I simplified. What intrigued me was the fruit and handle shapes reflected in the goblet’s stems. more »
