Blue Dog & Butterflies

This design was inspired by a photo of a Bluetick hound, and from a similar dog I saw while shopping at a pet store. This painting is different from other collages in that I painted the background first, before I pieced the collage papers on top of it. more »
Flamingo & Stars

My original idea was for this painting to have three flamingos and be called Flamingo Fandango, but I had to scale back to fit within the preselected frame. I painted the background loosely by dripping and flinging the paint on archival board. more »
