I began with a deep purple background to contrast with the emerald green of the pig. Then I put a numeral 1 on his haunches; I couldn’t figure out how to finish, then had the idea to cut up flag stamps and glued on the bottom. more »
This week I’ve worked on trying to capture the vivid color patterns of butterflies seen at Reiman Gardens a few years ago. These two particular butterflies are the Buckeye and the Swallowtail — quite beautiful and delicate. more »
