Study For Oleanders

After setting up various still life items, I decided to do a small study and explore the design shapes and colors. Not having any fresh flowers, I used a picture of a bouquet. What excited me about this was the spring lemon-yellow-greens of Van Gogh's "Oleanders". I love this color and works well with the complementary color of the apples.
