This is a commissioned watercolor pet portrait done for a friend. I created this portrait of Elliott from a provided photo. I use a pencil design and paint the cat’s portrait very loosely, paying close attention to the markings and expression of the animal. Over the years I have created many of these painterly pet portraits and they are great gifts for Christmas or any occasion. These portraits are favorite keepsakes and are treasured by everyone.
