My watercolor painting Harry & George has been accepted for the 2008 Iowa Watercolor Society’s exhibition. Sixty pieces were accepted of the 149 entries by juror Stephen Quiller.

The paintings will be on display in Ames at the Octagon Center for the Arts from August 15 to October 19. There will be an opening reception August 15 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm for Octagon members, guests, and the general public.

This still life painting depicts a variety of glassware arranged on a table with selected presidents’ portraits. It’s part of a still life series of glassware that I began in the fall of 2006.
