Daily painting for March 11th. I am fascinated painting figures with the downtown city buildings of the farmers market. I used my reference photo to capture the moment of shoppers in the early morning market in Des Moines. The compositions are endless with the moving shapes of people among the tables of produce, flowers and other goodies. The shapes and colors capture my attention and I’m always thinking of all the great possibilities to paint! Everyone recognizes the store fronts and the flavor of downtown Des Moines.
