My recent experience at the Clear Lake Art Sail last Saturday was delightful!  Not only was the weather perfect — 74 degrees and sunny — but all the people that stopped by were enthusiastic about my artwork.  Many customers recognized my work from the previous year.

I’d like to thank all of you who stopped to chat and admire my work; I really appreciate it! This was my second year  to attend this festival, which is held in City Park by the lake. Setup is easy and the community friendly and the park is a beautiful setting for artists. I displayed mostly watercolor florals and acrylic collages. The most popular subject of course was one of my studio cats, Jules and Vincent in the painting Brotherly Love. The other was the collage Doxie & Dragonflies.

Thank you all again and I will see you next year, same place, same time!
