My goal was to create an autumn piece using fall flowers and colors. Using my imagination and some reference photos, I used a combination of terracotta daisies, tiny mums, some purple crinkly puffy flowers and red roses. Using my pre-painted acrylic papers, I edited and cut the simple shapes and arranged them in a pleasing bouquet. The hand-painted papers are textured with juicy acrylic paints. These are preferable because I like the thick paints and saturated colors that define my works.
