Marybeth Heikes’ watercolor painting Stemware #4 will be exhibited in the Octagon Center for the Arts’ 39th annual Clay, Fiber, Paper, Glass, Metal, Wood Exhibition. This year’s exhibit will feature 78 works of art by 59 artists across the country. The show opens February 2 with the reception and awards and continues through April 1, 2007.

Ms. Heikes’ painting is from her new glassware series. She has been painting still lifes and landscapes for over twenty-five years. Her works have been included in numerous national competitions, and she has won many prestigious awards including the Grumbacher Gold Medal. Her work has been featured in American Artist Watercolor, The Artist’s Magazine, Iowa Woman, Sunshine Artist, The Best of Drawing and Sketching.
