This artwork was made using both torn and cut paper shapes — triangles, circles, and rectangles in bright red with yellows and greens. It took me a while arranging, then re-arranging, pieces for a pleasing design. Texture plays an important role too. It reminds me of some musical passages I’ve listened to in classical music while working in my studio.

Done on 300# hot press paper and mounted on archival board.
