This acrylic collage is a continuation of my series of chairs compositions I began in the late 1980s. I was instructed at a workshop to work in a series, as it was said that an artist would be able to see their progress. Since then I have challenged myself with different chairs, shapes and backgrounds. As always, I hand-paint my acrylic papers first by blending with brushes or brayer to achieve thicker textures and colors.
